I hope everyone’s enjoying the holidays! This is my first and only post for 2015. Hooray?
I’m just here to let you guys know that I’m still alive and this blog is too. You know, just in case you’re keeping a Bloggers Who Still Blog Because They’re Still Holding On To The Idea That Blogging Is Still Relevant In 2015 list. But I didn’t stay away from blogging completely this year. I posted some stuff at Collectiboss like a review of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Speaking of Collectiboss, it’s my new online store where I sell Funko Pop! vinyl figures. See, I left my previous job in January and I decided to put up a business to keep me busy while I was FUNemployed. I actually started selling a few pieces on Facebook back in November 2014 but I officially launched the site in January. Surprisingly, I still haven’t run the business into the ground. It’s still alive and it’s about to get better! Huzzah!
Aside from selling Pops online and meeting collectors offline, I spent most of 2015 being the World’s Best Unemployed Babysitting Uncle. Our family got a new member back in January — Ellie. We like just chillin’ like chubby villains.
In the latter part of the year, I got a new job somewhere in BGC. It’s a bit of a stressful, but hey, I spent most of 2015 playing with my niece and taking pictures of cute vinyl figures. I’m ready, willing, and able to deal with some corporate stress for the foreseeable future.
And that was my year. I hope you all had a great 2015 like I did. Here’s to an awesome 2016! Cheers!
