Last December, I signed up for an account at My Journal Philippines. I posted a couple of non-sense articles on my MJP blog, and I don’t think I won’t be able to update it in the foreseeable future. God knows I’m having a hard time right now updating this blog.

On that note, I’m going to post one of my stupid articles from my MJP blog here. Why? Having a hard time blah blah blah.

I wrote this piece after my first night out for 2007. I went out with several college friends, and we had a great time at Metrowalk. Where there’s electricity. See, during that time, we had no electricity at the apartment. One of the reasons why I went back to commuting from Sta. Rosa to Ortigas and back every freakin’ day. We’re still in the first quarter, but 2007’s memorable already.

So anyway, here it is. It’s in Tagalog. And it’s corny. But whatever.

BD: I was again at the mercy of the enchanted land where the trees keep your secrets, the breeze chips away the barnacles of your despair, and the beer flows free. Where the mind is distracted by cheerful noise. Where the soul is fed with moonlight and bitter nectar. Where the heart is broken, mended, strengthened, and broken again. Where time stands still and space seems endless. Where family doesn’t require blood. A simple burn from a dying cigarette will do.
