What Do Alpha Flight, Marvel’s Destroyers And The Justice Society of America Have In Common?

Alpha Flight #6I’ve read wonderful news about all 3 of these books from FanExpo 2011. Alpha Flight is now an ongoing series, Marvel will be releasing a 5-issue mini-series in 2012 called Destroyers and the JSA will still be around after the DC Reboot. Internet high five!

So far, I’m enjoying Alpha Flight by Greg Pak, Fred Van Lente and Dale Eaglesham. First of all, I’ve been a fan of Dale Eaglesham ever since I saw his work on one of my favorite DC books, Justice Society of America. He’s just doing wonders on Canada’s super-team.

Let’s not forget about the new and exciting world that is being built by Pak and Van Lente. I loved them in Incredible Hercules and I still love them in Alpha Flight. The Canadian superheroes have never been this cool and interesting as far as I’m concerned. This is why I’m ecstatic about the announcement that the current mini-series will continue on as a monthly series.
