In FF #13, when asked by Valeria Richards how he can be sure that he will not die in the face of certain death at the hands of cosmic forces, this is Dr. Doom’s response:
He will not die because he is DOOM, Destroyer of Worlds. This kind of confidence is what I’m bringing into the new year.
“The Best of” is kind of an overstatement but shut up, it’s my blog. I feel like I’ve lost my blogging mojo — if I ever had such a thing — in the past couple of years but I think in 2011, I got some of it back. I’m actually proud of a number of my blog entries this year. Some of them may have only been read by no more than 20 people but I don’t care. This is the best of Baddieverse in 2011 and you’re going to like it.

I’ve spent years without feeling the warm touch of a girlfriend so I consider myself an expert in being single. That’s why I came up with this list that aims to help single people everywhere cope with the bitter cold that is Valentine’s Day.
Sleazy pick-up lines and superheroes are kind of my thing, so I guess nobody was surprised when I came up with this list of superhero pick-up lines.
Ah, the holidays. There’s plenty of fuel for rage during this season like skyrocketing prices, crowded malls and traffic. Jesus Christ, the traffic. For some of us, there’s also the matter of the year ending and the sudden realization that life is as shitty as life was at the end of last year. Let’s not forget about the Apocalypse coming in a few months. That’s a lot of fuel for rage and misery and depression and more rage. But once you find yourself among family, friends and food, it all goes away. Rage goes away. There is only love.
Whatever god you pray to and no matter how crappy your year has been, just know that it will all be better if you are not alone. Nobody should be alone on Christmas or New Year’s. So go eat a sinful amount of food. Go be with your family, including your annoying relatives. Go dick around with your friends, even those questionable ones from the Internet. It’s time to put the rage away. Let love loose and linger.
I considered doing a year-in-review post but I thought Baddie 2010 is a lot like Baddie 2009, so I guess I shouldn’t even bother. Besides, my Project 365 is about to end. I’ll probably just write another entry about it and some of my favorite days of 2010. Whatever. For this entry, though, I would like to show you people my very first Flash animation, which I made back in 2005 or 2006. Can’t really remember. All I know is it’s stupid and I’m glad I didn’t make another one.
I almost forgot (I tried really hard to forget) that I made this. I stumbled upon it when I was rummaging through my old web development stuff. I was looking for things that I could use for my web development and web design portfolio. Yes, I’m building a portfolio. I have a plan for 2011 and trust me when I say that me concocting a plan is something new. I hate to plan. I’m the Ultimate Flaker. I only like the beginnings of things, much like Don Draper.
I have entered the Project 365 fray. I’m not doing this to impress, entertain or even express. I don’t have the photography skills and the equipment to do that. Although by the end of this project, I’m hoping that I would’ve improved my photo-taking Kung Fu already.
I’m doing this to document. I’ll be documenting my entire 2010 (hopefully) with photos of things, places and people. Take one photo per day is the mission, but I don’t expect myself to post everyday. Also, don’t worry, my face and sexy body will have minimal exposure.
