I was searching for the most fascinating Captain America comic book covers of all time when I stumbled upon a pattern in early Captain America issues. Most of the covers of the first 50 Captain America comics featured Bucky in a situation where he’s tied up in some way. It’s like he has a thing for bondage or something. I realize there’s no actual point in showing you some of these covers but hey, why the hell not? Click on the images to enlarge.

One night, three movies. I was bored.

Push is like a really nice episode of Heroes. It may be a tad confusing for ordinary fucking people, but for comic book people like me, I got the entire “We were born with special abilities and now we must survive in a world of ordinary fucking people” schtick even before the first scene was done. Yes, I appreciated it, but not entirely. Even comic book people can be confused by shaky plots. Maybe the presence of Camilla Belle made the whole thing go down a whole lot easier that it could have.

I haven’t posted a DVD Library entry since August 2007, and I think it’s about time I talk about DVDs again. So, next week, Monday to Friday, I’m going to post one DVD Library entry per day. That’s right. Five DVD reviews dropped in a single week. I figured it’ll be a great way to start the year right. Also, I’m going to call next week DVD Week. I am so creative.
