This entry is part 5 of 5 in the series Baddie Bookmarks

To end my five-part Baddie Bookmarks series, I’d like to share links that are related the my favorite topic. The topic I’ll never run out of time to talk about. The topic that’s the most important of all: Me. Yes, I’m going to show you my past stomping grounds on the Intarwebz. I warn you, it won’t be pretty.

exhaust

Let’s start with my old blogs. Exhaust was my first blog. It’s where I learned how to create a blog, but unfortunately, I didn’t learn to successfully maintain a blog until further down the road. I’ve had several regular readers and visitors in this blog. Most of them vanished when I moved on to another blog. More on that other blog later. While I was blogging on Exhaust, I created another blog. The Diary of the Wolf.

Needless to say, it was a way to let out my inner retarded psychopath. Both these blogs contain sophomoric emo drama, irritating lonely guy angst, and sub-par spalling and grammer. You’ve been warned.

It’s pretty obvious that I’m not just a casual comic book fan. I live, eat, and breathe comics. I love the art and the mythology. I cringe at gory death scenes. I cheer for the underdog. I giggle at the ridiculously hot half-naked women. I admire the heroism. I read in awe the grandeur of megalomaniac villains. I thrill at battles of cosmic proportions. And between my weekly comic fixes, I turn to the web for digital comic geekery.

marvelMarvel. I’m a Marvel whore so it’s already a habit for me to visit the site to get updates on comics on sale, news on upcoming comics, blogs by editors and creators, wallpapers, and I even check out the character profiles when I have nothing else to do. This doesn’t mean I don’t visit the DC website. I do. I check out comics on sale and some other stuff when I’ve already exhausted my Marvel cravings.

This entry is part 3 of 5 in the series Baddie Bookmarks

Baddie Bookmarks, my series of posts that documents my web surfing habits, won’t be complete if I don’t talk about the blogs I regularly visit. Most of those blogs are being authored by Filipinos, but there are sprinkles of foreign blogger blood in my feed reader too.

the man blog

The Man Blog and the individual blogs of its resident retards: rising Internet star Mikey; Adam Mordo, the human walrus; the newly hitched MigraineBoy; Coco, El Gran Douche-O; the best damned thing since Coco, Riffology; Squid, the Snarkinator; the retarded daily NoisyNoisyMan; and that dude who creeps me out, Steel. Just when you thought you can’t take this fraternity’s badassery anymore with the blog, they take it a notch higher with the awesome awesomeness of the TMB Forum. Disclosure: My soul has already been corrupted by this group of degenerates ever since they inducted me into their manly ranks. Assholes.

Okay. It was a long weekend. I was expecting Super Typhoon Reming to render our area powerless for at least a day. But Reming had other plans. It didn’t hit Manila and the surrounding area. Everything’s fine and dandy. So what did I do this long weekend?

I created a universe.

Well, not exactly a universe per se. More like a personal pocket universe that will act as a therapist whenever I feel like the world is harassing me. Yes, I created another blog. I created this, my Baddieverse.

“What’s the point?” you ask. I have no freakin’ idea. It’s very satisfying though. I now have two blogs. The old one, LongBox, is now exclusive for comics-related stupidity, while this new one is a personal blog where the rest of my stupidity will reside. Yay!
Anyway, I’m thankful Reming didn’t punk our area like Milenyo did. That jerk.

Aaaaand I’ve got nothing else to talk about. Hell of an opening entry for a new blog, Gino.

Craptitude

No comment - Post a comment

I’ve been on the web since 2001 (I think). I started out with simple HTML pages. I improved on my HTML skills (?!) by maintaining a static personal website. I besmirched the Internet with all of my crap including essays, poems, personal pictures, and whatever cool crap I can find online. I then started to work on my student organization’s website, which became the new official one for our org. I increased the craptitude of my sites by learning Photoshop and Flash. That fact led me to believe that maybe I did choose the right course which is BS Computer Science. And there I was, thinking that I should have taken BS Food Technology instead because, you know, I kinda like food.

Manually updating my sites was fulfilling, but it was a pain in the ass. And then I discovered online picture gallery and blogging services. And it was heaven for a sloth like me. And the age of BigBaddie Sites of Craptitude began.

I maintained several blogs (not at the same time) throughout the past couple of years. Some of them are still online, some of them are lost in the big black hole of cyberspace. I also maintained two online picture galleries which were the default stash of my org’s pictures. My crap was all over the web. Until I discovered Multiply. Well, actually, I’ve signed up with them several months ago, but I forgot all about my account until recently, when I was forced to relocate my picture galleries to another site. Fotopic and its “one account only” policy. Pfft.

I’ve lost a considerable amount of crap from my old sites, but I managed to salvage most of them and place them in one crappy Multiply site. I spent several days moving my pictures from two galleries and blog posts from five (five!!!) blogs into one site. And I saw that it was good. And on the seventh day, I rested. Haha!

If you can’t get enough crap from my LongBox blog, check out the rest of my crap at Craptastic!, and I assure you, the level of craptitude of that site is mind-boggling.
