If you're new here, you may want to add some dickery to your feed reader by subscribing to my RSS feed. High five!

Scientists say that 7% of the Internets is all about asshattery and dickery, while 3% is serious business. The remaining 90% is porn. I can attest to the porn number, and this blog more or less falls under the Asshattery & Dickery category. For the serious business side of the Internets, though, I have the perfect examples. I know this for I have firsthand accounts. Yes, ladies and gentlecreeps, all this bogus statistics bull is just an introduction to my pimping of the following:

bum no more

Bum No More is a blog about tips and guides on employment, lifestyle, and other things that might interest new college graduates and young upwardly mobile professionals. It’s only been online for less than two months, but it already has a wealth of wisdom ready to be devoured by hungry young job seekers and corporate n00bs. Aside from this, job seekers can also subscribe to the Bum No More Weekly Newsletter that features entry level job openings every week.

Last December, I signed up for an account at My Journal Philippines. I posted a couple of non-sense articles on my MJP blog, and I don’t think I won’t be able to update it in the foreseeable future. God knows I’m having a hard time right now updating this blog.

On that note, I’m going to post one of my stupid articles from my MJP blog here. Why? Having a hard time blah blah blah.

I wrote this piece after my first night out for 2007. I went out with several college friends, and we had a great time at Metrowalk. Where there’s electricity. See, during that time, we had no electricity at the apartment. One of the reasons why I went back to commuting from Sta. Rosa to Ortigas and back every freakin’ day. We’re still in the first quarter, but 2007’s memorable already.

So anyway, here it is. It’s in Tagalog. And it’s corny. But whatever.

This entry is part 1 of 12 in the series Weekly Haul

weekly haul 1

Before I explain that X-Week isn’t what you think it is (you perv), let me just bore you with the recent developments within the confines of this blog (you know Baddie doesn’t have a life when all developments he can report are about his blog).

While I was starting development on the new UPLB MASS Online this past week, I discovered a few new cool stuff in K2 (my WordPress theme, not the company I work for) in its latest release, version 0.9.5. I decided to upgrade my K2 0.9.1 installation with this mother. I won’t go into details, but I fucked up my blog big time. Good thing I managed to backup my database and my files right before I did the upgrade. Nevertheless, things are back to normal. Well, actually I’d like to think things are better now with my new links page, which I dubbed “Black Holes“, and my new and really neat archives page, which I dubbed… umm… “Archives“. Yeah, I ran out of clever space-related words.

Blogathon

Holy mother of stinkin’ crap! I’ve blog for the past five days like I’ve never blogged before! In less than five days, I’ve posted ten blog entries (including this one) with topics ranging from blogging to TV network hijacking by a dude wearing a Max Headroom mask. Is Baddie insane, a blog addict, or just hungry for additional cash? You decide!

What have I learned from this blogathon?

I learned that taking “mind notes” of certain topics you want to blog about in the future may come in handy, provided you remember said notes. In my case, out of probably a dozen topics I have thought of before, I managed to blog about one of them. Now I know what pens and paper are for.

Well, well, well. It’s seems that Baddie has found a way to make some cash out of this blog. Finally. He’s done it through BlogToProfit. Ka-ching!

million dollar man

Basically, all you have to do is insert a sponsored link in the main body of one of your blog posts, and… well, that’s it. You can blog about the product being advertised, or you can just blog about anything you’d like to blog about. You can go about your normal blogging business and your usual topics. Just make sure the sponsored links are there. And oh yeah, one link per blog post only.

Sponsored link topics vary from fashion, the web, real estate news, etc. See how I did that? Ka-ching, baby. Ka-freakin’-ching.
