Maggie Mi Amor

Let’s take a break from talking about comics, TV shows and other awesome things so I can tell you a few things about Maggie — 23 things I love about her, to be exact. The last 8 months of my life has been a thrilling roller coaster ride of emotions and it’s all because of her. 30 Outrageous Things For 30 Outrageous Years

Today is some sort of milestone in my life. Today is my 30th birthday. I’m not going to throw a big party. I think. What I’m sure of is I’m going to “celebrate” it on this blog. But instead of writing a sappy entry thanking all the people who have made the past 30 years awesome for me — or an entry composed entirely of animated GIFs featuring drunk people dancing sexily — I thought I should just highlight 30 things from my 30 years of existence that I absolutely love. Ondoy

1. For those of you outside the Philippines, Filipino or not, please send help via PayPal or credit card by going to Philippineaid.com. It’s a great initiative from Mike Villar, which I vouch for along with several of my fellow bloggers.

2. For those of you in the country, check out the different ways that you can help. Karen Ang has compiled a list of institutions and locations where you can send donations. Financial support is great, but it would be awesome if you can also give clothes, food, water and other necessities. You can also volunteer to repackage relief goods and, if you’re able, distribute it to the victims.
