Loot Crate December 2014 - Exclusive Funko Pop! The Joker Batman-Batman

Loot Crate December 2014 – Anniversary

In Featured, Geek Culture by Gino Carteciano1 Comment

What’s a better way to end a year where some of the biggest entertainment franchises celebrated monumental anniversaries than a box of collectibles featuring those franchises? Probably a lot of things, but this anniversary-themed Loot Crate crate is still a pretty good way to end 2014.

I actually unsubscribed from the service after the September crate because the fact that I’m in the Philippines makes it a bit pricey thanks to shipping — but they pulled me right back in thanks to an exclusive Funko Pop! figure. Check out this baby:

Loot Crate December 2014 - Exclusive Funko Pop! The Joker Batman-Batman

Yeah, The Joker Batman-Batman looks too sweet to pass up. If they can come up with awesome exclusive stuff like Joker-cosplaying Batman over her in every other crate — or hell, why not make it in ALL the crates — I would probably stick around for the long haul.

The rest of the items in the box are pretty neat too:

  • Captain America Air Freshener – It has a vanilla scent because CAPTAIN AMERICA I guess. I’m going to use it in my car. Fight that unpleasant fat guy odor, Cap!
  • Exclusive Dancing Groot Crew Socks – I can’t wait to wear these to seduce the laydeez.
  • Tetris Sticker Set – I wasn’t really thrilled about this sticker set until I found out that includes a design booklet and patterns. I am a child and you need to hold my hand so I can explore my own creativity.
  • Exclusive Ghostbusters Door Hanger – I got the Stay Puft Marhmallow Man one which says “Are you the Keymaster?” Clever movie reference, I guess. It looks nice, though.
  • The Simpsons Cast Mighty Wallet – This one I really, really like. It’s a paper wallet with a bunch of storage for cash and cards. I don’t want to use it too much though because, you know, it’s made of paper. Paper can’t handle my butt.
  • Batman #36 with Exclusive Cover Art by Greg Capullo – I haven’t really been following the Batman comics but from what I hear, Scott Snyder and Capullo are killing it. I might have to catch up on their run sooner than I wanted to.
  • Loot Crate Magazine December 2014 – This month’s issue features an interview with December birthday boy, Stan “The Man” Lee. You can view a digital copy of this magazine online through Joomag.

The crate also includes a Loot Crate December 2014 pin, a 3-day trial to Crunchyroll.com, and a candy cane. Also, can I just say that the December 2014 box design is my favorite so far? It turns into the Batcave with Batcomputers and Batmonitors and Batbats!

If you want to get in on some of this loot action, just head on over to Loot Crate to subscribe. You can choose either a 1 month plan ($13.37 a month), a 3 month plan ($12.37 a month), or a 6 month plan ($11.67 per month).
