I keep missing out on Comicx Hub‘s special promos and warehouse events and I think it’s time I get a piece of that action. I’m planning to not miss the country’s largest online shopping website for comics, toys and collectibles’ first ever signing event featuring two of the country’s most well known comic book artists, Mico Suayan and Gerry Alanguilan.

Mico Suayan is known for his awesome detailed pencil work on Marvel books such as Moon Knight and Thor. I particularly liked his run on X-Men: Legacy. Sequential art living legend Gerry Alanguilan is also known as a major player in the American comics scene with his ink work appearing on such books as X-Men, Fantastic Four and Superman: Birthright. He’s also a heavy hitter in the creator-owned properties scene as his books Elmer, Wasted and Where Bold Stars Go to Die attract fans not only from the Philippines but from all over the world.

Comicx Hub’s signing event is on November 5th, starting at 10am, and it will be held in Comicx Hub’s warehouse at 3F Bloomingdale Plaza Shaw Blvd. Pasig City. This is the first of a series of signing events that will be hosted by Comicx Hub and I can’t wait to see who they have lined up next.

Honestly, I’ll have to purchase books that I want these two guys to sign because I haven’t bought any of their stuff recently and I’m too lazy to go through my stash to find some. That 50% off promo on paperbacks and hard covers sounds very enticing right about now.

Also, expect me to ask Mr. Alanguilan to do that infamous perv look because I need to see it in real life. Just because.
