Among all the new shows from the Fall TV season line up, The Playboy Club was the one I anticipated the most. I’ve been reading a lot of comparisons between this show and Showgirls�and�Mad Men, a movie and a TV show that are both very close to my heart. That’s why I expected a lot of cat fighting, sex and classy 60′s shenanigans. Unfortunately, it didn’t have a lot of those. But hey, AMBER HEARD.
It’s not as sexy as Showgirls and it doesn’t have the compelling retro feel of Mad Men, but it does have potential. Also, mobsters. So yes, this means I’ll be back for more. I’m eager to see where it goes from this decent pilot. Because I love the 60′s. And mobsters. And Amber Heard. Speaking of Amber Heard, here are 6 GIFs I made just because.
