GetGlue Sticker Rejects

I currently have 561 stickers in my GetGlue sticker collection. I have to admit, I unlocked most of them without actually watching a certain movie or TV show or getting excited about an artist going on tour. There’s just something about getting free stickers within a few clicks that makes me feel good. What’s more exhilarating is when you unlock the hard-to-get ones. Now imagine my exhilaration when — thanks to my super sleuthing skills — I discovered unreleased GetGlue stickers (just go with it). Behold, 9 GetGlue sticker rejects!

GetGlue Sticker - MultiplicityMultiple Movie Maniac

You checked in to several movies within minutes. You’re either checking in to unlock stickers, flipping through movie channels and checking in to every single movie you pass by — which is kind of retarded — or you have clones and each of them are watching different movies at the same time. Take your pick. In any case, share this one proudly. It’s from our friend, Michael Keaton.

X-Men Legacy #251 Commentary

X-Men Legacy #251

Mike Carey’s X-Men Legacy is turning out to be one of my favorite X-Men runs of all time. His take on the mutants has been blowing me away since he made Cyclops give Rogue her own team of X-Men. That was back in X-Men #188 (“Legacy” was added to the title with #208). Now we’re at X-Men Legacy #251 and he’s still firing on all cylinders. We’re in the middle of a story where Legion is trying to reclaim several of his rogue personalities — long story — with the help of Rogue, Magneto, Professor X, Gambit and Frenzy. There’s a great mix of characterization and action here. Everything feels fresh thanks to this odd and highly volatile grouping.

Banchetto Megatent Pros and Cons

There are only 3 things in the world right now that move me to tears — my girlfriend’s pretty face, that Van Gogh episode of Doctor Who and Banchetto. I almost cried manly tears when it left Emerald Avenue with an uncertain future ahead of it. And it almost made me cry again when it came back with a vengeance. This time, it’s Banchetto Megatent.

I went with Maggie to Banchetto last Friday, its 2nd week at Megatent. She loves stuffing her face with food as much as I do. When she’s at Banchetto, she says she feels like a kitten in calorie heaven. “NOMNOM EAT BEFORE RAPCHAR” the fine lass said during Banchetto Emerald‘s last night. She becomes a crazy apocalyptic cat when Banchetto is involved. The perfect companion in checking out Banchetto Reborn. We made a few observations, some good and some not so good, while stuffing our faces with potatoes, pasta and chicken.

We didn’t take photos at Banchetto so here’s a photo of chicken wings from BonChon instead.

23 Photos of Camille Ford Eating Food Sexily

A couple of weeks ago, Maggie asked me to acquire episodes of the Travel Channel’s Food Wars for her. Being the good boyfriend that I am, I obliged. And thank goodness I did because when I took a peek at the first episode of the show out of curiosity, I was immediately hooked by the food and the host, Camille Ford. I’m not going to bother you with the concept of the show which is basically a comfort food competition. Instead, let me just show you the best part of each episode — Camille Ford eating food sexily. If you have porn-like music in your media player, now’s the best time to play it. Now click and drool.

LIKE IT OR DIE

I think I just got my second wind in blogging. After months and months of forcing myself to write entries for the sake of keeping this blog alive, I may have found the energy to give blogging another go. With this newfound interest in churning out blog entries, I’ve decided to create a Facebook page for this blog. You know, to give it a more legit feel. LIKE IT OR DIE. I’m kidding. Or am I?
