Starting the Year Right with Project 365 and Flickr Pro

I have entered the Project 365 fray. I’m not doing this to impress, entertain or even express. I don’t have the photography skills and the equipment to do that. Although by the end of this project, I’m hoping that I would’ve improved my photo-taking Kung Fu already.

I’m doing this to document. I’ll be documenting my entire 2010 (hopefully) with photos of things, places and people. Take one photo per day is the mission, but I don’t expect myself to post everyday. Also, don’t worry, my face and sexy body will have minimal exposure.

Speaking of documentation, photo #1 features my 2009 and 2010 This Journal Will Actually Change Your Life journals.

I don’t do the “Dear Journal, today I woke up in the trunk of my car. Again.” thing. I usually just write phrases or short sentences to give Future Me an idea of what went down on a particular day. My 2009 is littered with “boooring”, “just chillin’” and “petiks”. The 2009 journal didn’t actually change my life so I’m trying it again with the 2010 one. Hey, it wouldn’t hurt to try.

Also, I upgraded my Flickr account to a Pro account using money I earned from whoring out my blog. Yay me! I figured if I want to take this new photography hobby seriously, I should shell out some cash or something. Besides, I’m getting tired of uploading full albums to Multiply and Facebook. From now on, everything (well, most of it anyway) will be uploaded to Flickr. I’m OC like that.

Happy new year, bitches!
