7 Ways to Make Pacquiao and Dela Hoya’s Dream Match More Epic Than the Bible

In a few hours, the much hyped face-punching extravaganza featuring Oscar Dela Hoya and Manny Pacquiao will rock the entire boxing world. It’s going to be big. It’s going to be EPIC. Hey, they don’t call it “The Dream Match” for nothing. But before we get our collective face melted, I’d like to propose a few ways to make this boxing match more EPIC than the Bible:

  1. Fans should play a beer game. For each punch thrown and landed, drink a glass of beer. If a punch draws blood, drink two.
  2. The combatants’ gloves should be wrapped in barbed wire then set on fire.
  3. For one randomly selected round, instead of boxing, Pacquiao and Dela Hoya should fight each other using lightsabers.
  4. AC/DC’s Black Ice album should be played throughout the fight.
  5. Random explosions inside the arena.
  6. A moat should be built around the ring and it should contain sharks. With lasers.
  7. Whoever loses gets a Stonecold Stunner from Stonecold Steve Austin.

I’m sure some of you got some sort of cash advance to make a bet, but if my suggestions get implemented, would you really care who wins or loses? I certainly would not.

I disagree. They should fight only with lightsabers.

I say they should include tables, ladders and chairs!
