Since this is the first blog entry I’ll be posting via my new laptop, I think it’s just appropriate that I make this all about her. And when I say “her”, I mean the laptop. Her name is Luna, named after that trippy Harry Potter character, Luna Lovegood. I just finished a Harry Potter movie marathon when I bought her! Don’t judge me!
After months of saving up for my very own laptop, I finally bought one last Monday, and so far, she’s been a darling. I finally got around to install a wireless router too because really, a laptop is probably 80% useless without Internet connection.
Luna is a Compaq Presario CQ40-107AU. I had Windows Vista Home Basic installed on her and this is my first experience with this OS. The first few days, I was like a caveman discovering Fire for the first time because I’ve been a Windows XP user for so long. In fact, if a copy of Windows XP was available in the store where I bought Luna, I would’ve had that installed instead of Vista.

So there you go. My new laptop, Luna. It’ll be easier for me now to go online and bug everybody on the Internet! YAY!

Ooh love it! If you can, try upgrading home basic to home premium.:) I can honestly assure you it’s way better.
Vista takes a lot getting used to, but you’ll learn to love it as it grows on you.:)
