It’s Halloween and it’s the last day of Zombie DVD Week! What better way to end this most spooktacular event than with the movie that pushed zombie movies back into the public consciousness? An instant cult classic, I just have to pay my respects to Shaun of the Dead.

From a Zack Snyder remake of a George A. Romero classic that involves the dawn of a zombie apocalypse, we will now take a look into a movie by the master himself, George A. Romero. Let’s continue this Zombie DVD Week by taking a peek into a world where a zombie holocaust has already taken place. Welcome to George A. Romero’s Land of the Dead!

Halloween is a few days away, so leave it to me to celebrate it the whole week by reviewing 3 zombie movies. That’s right. All 3 DVDs I’ll be talking about this week have “of the Dead” in their title. If you ask me, all movies should have “of the Dead” in their title. “Tropic Thunder of the Dead”. “Body of Lies of the Dead”. “High School Musical of the Dead”. I can do this all day. But I digress. Let’s begin Zombie DVD Week, shall we?
And you thought your Internets was safe. Feh. Next week, the undead will take over this blog as I, Baddie, Emperor of Ghouls, will review 3 DVDs featuring ZOMBIES! In the tradition of DVD Week, Baddie Loves You Week, and Mean Girls Week, I shall give you Zombie DVD Week!
On October 27th, 29th, and 31st, the dead will rise and Baddieverse will be overrun! Hide your brains, prepare your anti-zombie kit, and get ready to aim for the head! Next week, zombies will eat your Internets!
My last two blog posts have been responses to memes, so I figured why not start one? Sort of. Besides, I feel that I need to wash the stink of my bleeding heart Blog Action Day post off my blog with something incredibly awesome (See what I did there?). BEHOLD! Hulkified Baddie based on a naked picture of him in the crapper!
BADDIE SMASH LOL! I’m so shallow. Now go ahead and Hulkify yourselves. You know you want to. If you don’t, you’ll make me angry. You wouldn’t like me when I’m angry! OK, that’s enough Hulk references for one short stupid blog entry. Carry on.
P.S. – I don’t know about you guys, but I’m totally getting the Incredible Hulk DVD. That is all.
