One thing you should know about me, aside from my pure hatred for dogs, is that I love rainy days. I love the sound that the rain makes on our roof. I love the gloomy skies. I just love everything about it. Well, not everything. Here’s a list of rainy day things I’m not too crazy about:
1. Wet roads. It being slippery doesn’t really bother me since I’m confident enough with my ill driving skillz. I just don’t like deep puddles doing a number on my wheels. Also, mud on my car is just not sexy.
2. Getting soaked. Most of the time, I like getting a little wet by the rain. I don’t mind water meeting my jacket, but holy Baby Jesus, it pisses me off when my pants get soaked! And let’s not get into the topic of wet socks.
3. People at home when I’m at work. This item is born of jealousy. I mean, if you’re at home enjoying the bed weather by watching DVDs and eating junk food, keep it to yourself. You don’t have to tell me how awesome it is to stay in your bed in this cuddle-worthy weather. Have some heart!
4. Ridiculous traffic. I swear to God, a slight drizzle slows down traffic to a halt. I know it’s dangerous to keep normal speed when the roads are wet, but still. It’s no excuse to disregard traffic rules and plunge the whole metropolitan area into chaos!
5. Umbrellas. IN MY FACE. Is it really necessary for some people to hit other people’s faces with their umbrella? Honestly!

I might have the habit of smacking people’s faces with my umbrella – maybe because I have a hobbit’s height? LOL. I really hate mud at the back of my legs. Not cool.
I just don’t like wet feet, wet socks, and when you’re walking and the back of your legs get splattered with mud.
And… When the rain ruins the internet connection. :(
I like it when I’m riding in a car though. And I see all these people getting splashed. MWAHAHAHAHA. *evil grin*

wet socks and wet shoes top my list. and flood. especially when you know it’s an extension of the sewerage system. ewwwwwwwwwww.
oh, and slippery jeepney floors. i almost slipped this morning while boarding a jeep. and getting off it. jeez.
and leaking bus windows! aircon nga, tumutulo naman sa sobrang kalawang. $#%$@! paltan nyo na yung bus parang awa na.

Other pet peeve during rainy days: FROGS. Jeez, talk about disgusting creatures (no offense to anyone).

My only pet peeve is when I'm wearing slippers and my feet get wet. Oh and yeah, mud at the back of my legs, too. Hmf.
i'm that person who always wears a jacket even when it's hot. i also wear boots just for kicks. so. you can't imagine how terribly pissed i am when it rains and i'm not wearing boots, much less a jacket. i have a lot of boots and jackets, ergo, there is absolutely no justification for me to get wet. bleh.
@Liz: “boots just for kicks”. Flying or roundhouse? HUHLOLZ But seriously, I envy you. I can only wear a jacket when it’s extremely cold or extremely wet. I’m a sweat machine. :(

I also had summady smack a wet umbrella to my face as well. I made sure she regretted it.

as much as rain can be very inconvenient, i love it. i feel good when it rains =)
