Celebrate 100 Years of UP Via the UPiktyuran Na! with SMART MMS Photo Competition

This is a photo of myself with some of my brothers and sisters in UPLB MASS taken in December 2004 at UPLB’s Carabao Park. After an org activity, we decided to just dick around the park and bask in the simple beauty of a cool December evening while being surrounded by Christmas lights and friends. It was just us, the trees, the stars, the lights, and the pond. That was what being in UP Los Bańos meant to me. Simple joys. Complex relationships. All under the warm shadow of Oble.

Uncanny X-Men #500 – I had great expectations for this issue, and that probably explains why I’m disappointed. Maybe there was just too much going on and it felt like an extra-sized preview book. Maybe it’s the distracting art. I don’t know. Don’t get me wrong, I love Terry Dodson’s art and I don’t hate Greg Land’s “lightbox style”, but they just don’t mix, is all I’m saying.
