Today just plain sucks. Normally, I wouldn’t rant about a sucky day on this blog. I wouldn’t even let it bother me for more than a couple of hours. Whenever I get that feeling of extra suckiness, a couple of LOLcat images is usually all it takes to tame Baddie’s Inner Beast of Anger. But today’s different. Today is just full of sucktitude. Nothing is going my way.

You said it, Stupid Dog on Roller Blades Holding an Ice Cream Cone with 3 Scoops of Ice Cream! I feel like everything is against me. Am I really having the worst day of my week, or am I just being overly dramatic? Consider:

• I’m still sick. 5 days now. What’s up with that?
• Mom prepared instant mami for me. It was full of dead ants. I ate half of it.
• Car stereo’s busted. I had to use my phone as a radio to keep me sane during the 3-hour drive from Laguna to Pasig.
• Emerald avenue is completely closed for a stupid street party later tonight. More traffic. Difficulty of finding parking space just went through the roof.
• I got a decent parking space after wasting gas for almost an hour. And when I say “decent”, I mean “surrounded by puddles of mud and ideal for carjacking”.
• LBM. Let’s not talk about that.
• My bandwidth is about to exceed its monthly limit.
• PayPerPost rejected this blog because, apparently, I use “excessive foul language”. WHAT THE FUCK ARE THOSE GODDAMN CUNTS TALKING ABOUT?! SHIT!
• I’m hungry. I could eat a whole bowl of hot ants right now.
• I miss the girlfriend.
• While I was stuck in traffic, I told myself “I love the frakkin’ Philippines, I swear.” I was being sarcastic. WHILE TALKING TO MYSELF!
• I did that again when I heard about the hijinks of Trillanes in Makati.

I don’t know what I should feel right now. Should I just wait for the day to be over, go home, and sleep it off?

Should I freak out and kill everybody in the office?

Or should I just get a gun and blow my coughing head off?

So, how’s your day? Not that I care. I’m just being polite.

UPDATE (9:09 PM):

So things sort of looked up when we were allowed to leave work early. But that’s the only bright moment of the day. Leaving early for work didn’t matter much because traffic was horrendous. One thing that made it truly horrible was while I was driving along C5, I saw a dead body on the road. Up close.

I was smoking at the time since I miss it so much, thanks to the fact that I was sick the whole frickin’ week and I was cutting back on the cancer sticks. So anyway, my window was down. I had a clear view of this body on the ground covered with white cloth. I didn’t even notice its gender. I didn’t notice the body until I was about to pass it by. No time to change lanes. I had to suck it up. It was the first time in my life that I came that close to a freshly dead body that wasn’t in a casket.

And then there’s this whole Trillanes thing. I was keeping track of people’s tweets using Cellity on my phone. It’s amazing how updated I was with the events by going online on Twitter.

So anyway, yeah. Weird day. I won’t fuckin’ forget it, I fuckin’ swear.
