If you're new here, you may want to add some dickery to your feed reader by subscribing to my RSS feed. High five!

This entry is part 5 of 10 in the series Top 5 Lists

I spend an average of 8 hours a day on weekdays online. During weekends, it can range from 4 to 12 hours, depending on how my social life is faring. It’s fairly obvious that there are websites that are regular stops for me in the information superhighway. And you’re about to meet them. Just to be fair, for my top 5 list of my favorite websites, I’m not going to include my blog. Yeah, the one you’re reading now, dummy.

#5: WWE.com - Being a fan of WWE, it follows that I always check out their official website. When I can’t resist (almost each and every time), I look at spoilers for Raw and Smackdown! After reading it, I’ll pretend that it just didn’t happen. I’m weird. Also, it helps that I can get official announcements about events and Superstars on the site. It gives me the feeling of intense fandom membership. Yay!

#4: Newsarama - What can I say? I love comics and I love news about comics. And what better site to deliver comics news than Newsarama? The community is a tightly knit group of creators, journalists, critics, and fans. I visit the site every day, although I don’t participate in the forum section a lot. Actually, I think I’ve just posted a couple of messages on a couple of threads, and that’s it. I suck.

#3: NetVibes - Sure, they say Google Reader is da bomb, but NetVibes works for me in terms of navigation and prettyness. This is basically where I monitor the world, nay, reality as I sit here in my plastic throne. It does get slow sometimes when my connection starts to go bonkers, but dammit I love seeing new items on the blogs and websites I monitor. This is also where I do my searches for images, videos, and even strange phrases like Fort Myers botox. What?

#2: The Man Blog - Or TMB, as we like to call it. It’s a blog and a forum and a beacon of hope for all the retards in the world. Finally, they are affirmed that sometimes, even if you’re retarded, you can still make something out of your weird Lucy-in-the-Sky-with-Diamonds existence. It’s amazing, really. Yeah, I’m sort of an editor and forum moderator of TMB, but even if I wasn’t, this would still be in my list. Honest!

#1: yUPieLBi - Well, yeah. You might be thinking “Dude, you excluded your blog from the list but you didn’t exclude a community website that you built?! WTF?!”, but let me tell you that although technically I built it, it was actually the community that makes it special. Sure, a lot of features need some tweaking, and a few bugs need to be squished, but man, the people always remind me of UPLB. The site brings UPLB to me. And that’s always a good thing.

There you go. If I’m not replying to your YM messages, I’m more than probably busy with a couple or all of these sites. Sucks to be you.

Haha, I’ve been meaning to create a new category for my blog since last year, a Top 8. Except I can’t ever finish a list.

I..Google Reader > Netvibes. I tried it once and I liked all the nifty stuff, but I like GR’s simplicity better.

Maybe you can finish one if you make it a Top 7 list. LOLZ

Also, GR’s simplicity is both its strength and weakness. It’s more “lightweight” than NetVibes, but when your list of feeds gets too big, navigation can be a kick in the nuts.
